MANAGED TECHNOLOGY
Consolidating technology nobody was responsible for.
- Client
- Growing multi-brand company
- Industry
- Consumer services
- Service
- Manage
What we did
- Technology inventory
- Account and access consolidation
- DNS and hosting migration
- Email authentication cleanup
- Ongoing management

The problem
The website was hosted by a contractor who had moved on. DNS was managed at a registrar nobody could log into. Employee software accounts were created ad hoc by whoever needed them.
Nothing was broken. Everything was fragile.

What was in the way
- No single inventory of platforms, owners or renewals existed.
- Records had been added by vendors no longer involved.
- Employee offboarding left active accounts behind.
- Every incident began by determining who to call.
What we designed
We inventoried every platform, domain, record and account, then documented ownership and renewal dates.
We planned migrations in an order that avoided customer-facing downtime.
What we built
- Consolidated registrar, hosting and email administration.
- Corrected SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration.
- A documented onboarding and offboarding process for employee access.
- Ongoing management with a single point of ownership.
How it works now
“Who manages this?”
Documented ownership for every platform.
Offboarding leaves accounts open.
A defined access process.
Renewals discovered at expiry.
Tracked in advance.
The outcome
- The company has one inventory of its technology and one place to ask.
- Email authentication issues affecting deliverability were resolved.
- Access changes now follow a documented process instead of a favor.
